The Board of Stewards consists of five members of the church who are qualified men (qualified “elders” as stated in 1 Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9) elected for two years each.  They have over-sight of the spiritual affairs of the Church.  Other responsibilities of the Stewards included collecting money (when necessary) for the support of the Church, as well as seeking out the needy and distressed in order to relieve and comfort them.
